That night Simba broke the news that Kion had died. A couple of the hairless monkeys known as humans saw him and immediately took him back to the surface for medical attention. A current of water washed him down deeper into the hole until he was washed up onto a bank deep in the cave. He land softly at the bottom of the hole. Kion bumped into the walls of the hole causing him to black out. "Sire I was finished a strong current of water washed him farther down the hole, I tried to grab onto him and fly out but the current was to strong". "Quite a ways, you could get down there". "Sire he was there bloody and unresponsive but." After a several minutes Zazu came back up wet. "Zazu can fly down that hole and see if you can see him". I almost jumped in but I realized that wouldn't help. Knowing what she was talking about I ran to the hole. "Yeah but Kion he" started Fuli "he was bit on the leg and fell down one of those holes". We bumped into the lion guard who were cornered by 5 hyenas. I trip and fell down the steep hole plummeting down into the darkness. Sharp set of teeth clamped around my leg. A pack of hyenas came the bushes and were headed for us. They had sticks with round rocks on the end and long pointed rocks in their hands. They were like Rafiki but had way less hair and had weird colored wrappings on them. In the distance I saw wierd hairless monkeys. The hole was made into a cave with a long drop hole with some kind of vine going down it. Nala, Zazu, and I bolted to the border to try and save the lion guard.Īt the source of the smoke was a small fire and a massive precise hole with wood cubes and shiny flat rocks lying around. Strange animals tearing apart the ground. I remembered about what had been reported at the border. "But Kion and the Lion Guard were headed that way". "Sire there has been a quake from the border as well as smoke". Suddenly Zazu fly up to me in a frantic state. "Yeah they are something but they know when to be serious". "Those two are something else, you really grew up around them" said Nala. Nala and I were observing Timon and Pumbaa showing Kiara a few things about living as loners. I got up and rushed to see what was wrong the others followed. "Relax if a problem comes up we will take care of it, that's what we do right".īefore she could continue the ground shoke and a cloud of smoke appeared on edge of the pridelands. "I don't know I have had an off feeling about today". She waved her tail in front of my face to get my attention. Everyone went back to conversing with themselves except Fuli. "What yeah, my dad said that he wanted to show me something when I was done". I felt off about today like something was going to happen. I looked forward with my head in my paws. "I will probably go flying with my family" said Ono. "I am probably going to go cool" said Beshte. "So what are you guys doing later you know after we patrol" said a cheery Bunga. Today Fuli, Bunga, Ono, Beshte, and I were on patrol looking for dangers to the pridelands.
